INTRODUCTION
Escongweni Engineers have been commissioned by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport to undertake a Road Safety Appraisal at the P339 / N2 Shaka’s Head Interchange, located approximately 50 kilometres north of Durban with the view of identifying any deficiencies and challenges in terms of road safety in the vicinity of the interchange, with recommendations for their mitigation.
This report relates to a Stage 6 – Road Safety Appraisal (RSA) on an Existing Road.
